Car
If you are driving, begin your journey from any major town in Aragon, such as Zaragoza or Huesca. From Zaragoza, take the A-2 motorway towards Huesca. Then, take the exit for the A-22 towards Barbastro. Continue on A-22 until you reach the exit for Alquézar (N-123). Follow the signs to Alquézar, which is approximately 20 km from the exit. Once in Alquézar, look for C. la Iglesia where Pasarelas del Vero is located. Parking is available in Alquézar, but be aware that it may incur a small fee during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation
To reach Pasarelas del Vero using public transport, take a train or bus to Huesca. From Huesca, you can catch a bus directly to Alquézar. The bus service is operated by ALSA, and you can check their schedule in advance. The journey from Huesca to Alquézar takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Alquézar, follow the signs to C. la Iglesia, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the return bus schedule to ensure you have a way back.
Hiking
If you are in Alquézar and prefer walking, you can hike to Pasarelas del Vero. From the center of Alquézar, follow the marked trails that lead you through the stunning landscapes. The hike is well-signposted and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the Pasarelas, where you’ll find a series of wooden walkways suspended over the river. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially during the warmer months.
