Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Zaragoza, take Calle Alfonso I and head towards Plaza del Pilar. Follow the signs for the Casco Antiguo (Old Town). Continue on Avenida de César Augusto, and you will spot the Stone Bridge (Puente de Piedra) as you approach the Ebro River. Parking can be a challenge in the Old Town area; consider using the nearby public parking garages such as Parking Plaza de la Ciudadela, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bridge.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach the Stone Bridge using public transport, take the bus line 34 or 36 from various points in Zaragoza. Get off at the stop 'Puente de Piedra,' which is right by the bridge. These buses run frequently, and a single ticket costs around €1.35. Ensure you have cash or a transport card to purchase your ticket.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Old Town area, the Stone Bridge is very accessible by foot. From the Basilica del Pilar, walk south along Paseo de la Independencia, then take a left onto Calle del Coso. Continue straight until you reach the Ebro River, where the bridge will be directly in front of you. This route should take about 15 minutes.

• Tram

  You can also take the tram (Line 1) to the stop 'Plaza de España.' From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Stone Bridge. Exit the tram, head south on Calle de Don Jaime I, then turn right onto Calle de Vallehermoso, which will lead you directly to the bridge. A single tram ticket costs approximately €1.35.
