Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Oviedo, take the A-66 highway towards Gijón. After approximately 30 minutes, take exit 23 towards Gijón Oeste. Continue straight onto Avenida de la Constitución, then turn left onto Calle de la Estación del Norte. The Museo del Ferrocarril will be on your right at Plaza Estación del Nte., s/n.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Museo del Ferrocarril by bus from Oviedo, take the ALSA bus line towards Gijón. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Get off at the Gijón bus station. From there, you can walk to the museum. Exit the bus terminal and head towards Calle de la Estación del Norte. The museum is located at Plaza Estación del Nte., s/n, just a 10-minute walk from the bus station.

  • Car

    From Avilés, take the A-8 highway towards Gijón. After about 20 minutes, take exit 375 for the N-632 towards Gijón Centro. Merge onto Avenida de la Constitución, then turn right onto Calle de la Estación del Norte. The museum will be on your right at Plaza Estación del Nte., s/n.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are in Avilés, take the train from Avilés Station to Gijón. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gijón Station, exit the station and walk along Calle de la Estación del Norte, which will lead you to the museum in about 15 minutes.
