If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the city of Oviedo. Take the A-66 highway heading towards Gijón. After approximately 24 kilometers, take the exit onto the AS-1 towards Avilés. Continue on AS-1 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the exit for the N-632 towards Villaviciosa. Follow the N-632 for about 32 kilometers, and then take the exit for the AS-255 towards La Bañeza. After about 5 kilometers, you will see the Toro de Osborne located on the right side of the road. Be sure to park safely along the roadside, as there are no dedicated parking areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Toro de Osborne using public transportation, start at the Oviedo bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Oviedo). Take a bus to Villaviciosa, which typically operates every hour. The bus journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Villaviciosa, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus towards La Bañeza. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Toro de Osborne. Taxis in Villaviciosa are relatively affordable, costing around 10-15 euros for the short trip. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as it may vary on weekends and holidays.
