Getting There

  • Metro

    Take Line 1 (Red Line) from any station towards 'Hospital de Bellvitge'. Get off at 'Plaça Espanya' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for 'Parc de Montjuïc'. You will need to walk a short distance to reach the base of Montjuïc hill. From here, follow the pathway leading up to the Fundació Joan Miró, which is located in Parc de Montjuïc.

  • Bus

    You can take bus number 150 from 'Plaça de Catalunya' in the direction of 'Parc de Montjuïc'. Get off at the 'Miró' stop, which is located right outside the entrance to the Fundació Joan Miró. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Walking

    If you are near 'Plaça de Catalunya', you can walk to Fundació Joan Miró. Head southwest on 'Ronda de Sant Pere' towards 'Carrer de Casanova'. Continue straight until you reach 'Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes'. Cross the road and follow 'Carrer de Viladomat' until it turns into 'Avinguda del Paral·lel'. Continue onto 'Carrer de la Reina Maria Cristina' and then take the pathway leading up to Montjuïc. The Fundació will be on your left as you enter the park.

    Take the Metro Line 3 (Green Line) to 'Paral·lel' station. From there, follow the signs to the 'Parc de Montjuïc' Funicular entrance. Take the funicular up to Montjuïc, and once you exit, follow the signs to Fundació Joan Miró, which is a short walk from the funicular station.
