Metro
If you're near the metro station, get on Line 3 (the Green Line) at any station heading towards 'Trinitat Nova'. Get off at 'Liceu' station. Once you exit the station, walk down La Rambla street. After about 5 minutes, take a left onto Carrer de la Portaferrissa. Continue straight, and you will enter the Gothic Quarter where you can explore the narrow streets full of history and charm.
Bus
Take any bus that stops at Plaça Catalunya, such as the 14, 59, or 91. When you arrive at Plaça Catalunya, walk towards La Rambla. From there, walk down La Rambla until you reach the intersection with Carrer de la Portaferrissa. Turn left and follow the street into the Gothic Quarter, where you can wander through its historic alleys.
Walking
If you are staying in the central area of Barcelona, you can easily walk to the Gothic Quarter. Start from Plaça Catalunya and head down La Rambla. Continue straight until you reach Carrer de la Portaferrissa, where you can turn left. This will lead you directly into the beautiful Gothic Quarter. Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your current location. Simply tell the driver 'Gòtic' or 'Ciutat Vella', and they will take you to the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The taxi will drop you off near Plaça del Rei or Plaça Sant Jaume, both of which are within walking distance of the main attractions in the Gothic Quarter.
