Start your journey by heading to the nearest Metro station. If you're in the city center, the closest major station is Plaça de Catalunya. Take Line 1 (Red Line) towards Hospital de Bellvitge. At the station 'Espanya', transfer to Line 3 (Green Line) towards Zona Universitària. Get off at the next stop 'Paral·lel'. From Paral·lel, exit the station and walk towards Avinguda del Paral·lel. Look for the funicular station, which is called Funicular de Montjuïc, and take it up to Montjuïc.

Once you arrive at the Funicular de Montjuïc, enjoy the scenic ride up. When you exit the funicular, you will find yourself near the Montjuïc area. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Mirador de l'Alcalde. Follow the pathway that leads up the hill. It should be a short 10-minute walk.

As you walk, keep heading towards the Ctra. de Montjuïc. After a few minutes of walking, you will see signs directing you towards Mirador de l'Alcalde. The viewpoint is located at Ctra. de Montjuïc, 43. Make sure to take breaks and enjoy the beautiful views along the way, especially as you approach the mirador.
