To reach Nova Icaria beach, start by heading to the nearest Metro station. If you are near Plaça de Catalunya, take Line 1 (the Red Line) towards Fondo. Change at the Universitat station to Line 2 (the Purple Line) towards Paral·lel. At Paral·lel station, transfer to Line 3 (the Green Line) and head to the next stop, which is Drassanes. From there, take a short walk to the nearby waterfront area where you will find Nova Icaria beach. Follow the signs towards the beach.

If you prefer to take the bus, find a nearby bus stop that serves line 36 or 45. Board the bus and ride until you reach the Ciutadella - Vila Olímpica stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Nova Icaria beach. Head towards the waterfront, and you will see the beach ahead.

If you are staying in the Barceloneta area or close to the beach, you can walk to Nova Icaria beach. Simply head northeast along the beach promenade, which is a lovely walk with plenty of cafes and shops along the way. Continue until you reach Nova Icaria beach, which is well marked and hard to miss!

Barcelona is a bike-friendly city, so if you have access to a bike, you can ride to Nova Icaria beach. From the city center, follow the bike lanes towards the beach, heading towards the Port Olímpic area. When you reach the waterfront, follow the path that leads directly to Nova Icaria beach. There are bike parking spots available near the beach.
