Train
To reach Palau de Maricel in Sitges, start by heading to the nearest train station, which is Estació de Sants in Barcelona. From there, take the R2 Sud train towards Sitges. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Sitges station, exit the station and walk straight along Carrer de la Bassa Rodona, then turn left onto Carrer de Juan Carlos I. Continue walking until you reach the beach promenade, then turn right and walk along the promenade. You will soon see Palau de Maricel located at Carrer de Fonollar, s/n.
Bus
From Plaça Catalunya in Barcelona, take the bus number 100 or 200 that goes directly to Sitges. The bus ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Sitges, exit and head towards Carrer de Juan Carlos I. Follow the same route as mentioned for the train: walk straight along Carrer de la Bassa Rodona, then turn left onto Carrer de Juan Carlos I, continue to the beach promenade, and finally turn right to reach Palau de Maricel at Carrer de Fonollar, s/n.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Barcelona to Palau de Maricel in Sitges. Simply tell the driver to take you to Carrer de Fonollar, s/n. The drive will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis are available throughout the city, and you can find them at designated taxi stands or hail one on the street.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Barcelona and cycling to Sitges. You can take the coastal route, which is scenic and enjoyable. Start from Barceloneta beach, follow the coastline towards Sitges. It’s about a 40 km ride and should take around 2-3 hours depending on your speed. Once you reach Sitges, head towards the beach promenade and follow it until you see Palau de Maricel at Carrer de Fonollar, s/n.
