Getting There

Metro
If you are near the city center, head to the nearest metro station, which is likely 'Ciutadella - Vila Olimpica' on Line 4 (the yellow line). Board the train towards 'Trinitat Nova' and travel for 3 stops. Get off at 'Barceloneta' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the 'Playa' (beach). From the station, walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you'll reach Somorrostro Beach.

Look for a nearby bus stop and take bus number 45 towards 'Playa de la Barceloneta' or number 59 towards 'Carrer de la Marina'. After around 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Carrer de la Marina - Carrer de Salvador Espriu'. From there, walk towards the beach, and you will arrive at Somorrostro Beach in just a few minutes.
