    From Barceloneta Beach, head west along the beachfront promenade. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the end of the beach. You will see the W Barcelona hotel on your left. Turn left onto Carrer de la Marina and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carrer de l'Espanya Industrial. Turn right onto Carrer de l'Espanya Industrial, and then take the first left onto Carrer de la Reina Maria Cristina. After a few more minutes, you will arrive at Pça. de Pau Vila, where the Museum of the History of Catalonia is located.

  • Metro

    If you prefer to take the metro, from Barceloneta station (L4, the yellow line), take the train towards La Pau. Get off at the next station, which is Drassanes. From Drassanes, exit the station and head towards the waterfront. Walk straight down Carrer de Nou de la Rambla until you reach the port area, then turn left onto Passeig de Colom. Continue walking until you reach Pça. de Pau Vila, where the museum is located. Note that a single metro ticket costs €2.40.

  • Bus

    You can also take bus number 59 from the nearest bus stop in Barceloneta. Board the bus at the stop 'Paseo de Joan de Borbó - C/Almirall Cadarso' and ride for 5 stops. Get off at 'Paseo de Colón - Pza. de la Reina Maria Cristina'. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the museum. A single bus ticket costs €2.40, the same as the metro.
