    If you are in the heart of Barceloneta, head towards the coastline by walking south. Look for Carrer de la Barceloneta, which runs parallel to the beach. As you walk down this street, you will be able to see the beach in the distance. Continue walking until you reach the promenade, where you will see the entrance to Platja de la Barceloneta. The beach is just a short 5-10 minute walk from most locations in Barceloneta.

  • Public Transport - Metro

    If you are further north in Barceloneta, you can take the Metro. Walk to the nearest Metro station, which is 'Barceloneta' on Line 4 (the yellow line). Board the train heading towards 'Trinitat Nova'. Get off at the next stop, 'Jaume I'. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk. Head towards Carrer de la Princesa, then turn right onto Carrer de la Barceloneta, which will lead you directly to the beach. Note that a single journey ticket costs €2.40.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    You can also take the bus to get to Platja de la Barceloneta. Look for the nearest bus stop and take either the V15 or the 47 bus. If you are on the V15, get off at the 'Pg. de Joan de Borbó - Passeig de Colom' stop. If you are on the 47, get off at 'Carrer de l'Escudellers'. From either stop, it is just a short walk down to the beach. A single bus ticket costs €2.40.
