If you are in El Born, start by heading towards the nearest main street, which is Carrer de la Princesa. Walk south until you reach the intersection with Via Laietana. Turn left onto Via Laietana and continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Carrer de les Veles. Turn right onto Carrer de les Veles, which will lead you straight to Plaça Portal de la Pau, where the Columbus Monument is located.

From El Born, walk to the nearest metro station, which is Jaume I (L4 - Yellow Line). Take the metro towards Trinitat Nova. After 2 stops, get off at the station Barceloneta. Once you exit the station, walk towards the waterfront (approximately 800 meters) heading southwest to reach Plaça Portal de la Pau, where the Columbus Monument is located. There is a cost of approximately €2.40 for a single metro ticket.
