Exceptional experience with Rafael

We had a wonderful experience on our Bilbao tour with Rafael! He was incredibly informative, kind, and easy to communicate with, and he was truly a pleasure to spend the day with. The tour was the perfect length, with plenty to see and do, and the food was excellent. Rafael went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a memorable and enjoyable experience. We really appreciated his flexibility, knowledge, and warm personality. One note for future travelers: the San Juan de Gaztelugatxe portion was absolutely epic and one of the highlights of the tour, but it is quite a hike and may not be for everyone. Even if you don’t make it all the way down, the views are still absolutely beautiful and worth seeing. Highly recommend Rafael and this tour!

Private Guided Full-Day Walking Tour in Bilbao

Fantastic walking tour of Bilbao with Jose

What an amazing day we had exploring the fantastic city of Bilbao with our guide Jose. We covered an impressive 14km in this relaxed yet comprehensive walk that included the funicular and secret lift experience to views of and from the upper eschelons of Bilbao. We stopped for a delicious lunch in Casco Viajo at a restaurante organised by Jose. It was a treat to have such a passionate and informed local orientate us to this intriguing, bilingual city, the history, culture and amazing sights. When planning this trip, never did I imagine we would be walking down the streets of the Gran Via singing songs of the Pogues with our guide (Jose is an avid fan as are we). We also appreciated the insights provided by Jose on our upcoming trip to Picos de Europa. Eskerrik asko Jose!!!

It is walking, with the exception of funicular railway and tram. Most interesting, our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We were lucky as there were only two of us on the tour.
