Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Burgos Train Station (Estación de Tren de Burgos), exit the station and turn left onto Calle de la Constitución. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida del Cid, and walk for another 500 meters until you see Plaza Mayor. From Plaza Mayor, walk towards Calle de la Paloma and follow it until you reach Plaza de Santa María. The Burgos Cathedral will be directly in front of you.

    From the Plaza de España, head northwest on Calle Vitoria. Continue straight until you reach Plaza de la Libertad. From there, take Calle de la Paloma, which will lead you to Plaza de Santa María. The Burgos Cathedral is located at the end of the plaza.

    If you are near the bus station (Estación de Autobuses de Burgos), you can take Bus Line 1 towards Plaza de Santa María. Get off at the stop called Plaza de Santa María. Once you exit the bus, the Burgos Cathedral will be right in front of you.
