Car
If you are driving from the center of Cabo de Gata, start by heading southeast on the main road, AL-3115. Follow this road for approximately 6 km. You will pass the charming landscape of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Keep an eye out for signs indicating 'Mirador Las Salinas' as you approach. The mirador will be located on your right, with a designated parking area available. The parking is free, but be mindful of any restrictions during peak hours.
Public Transportation
To reach Mirador Las Salinas using public transport, you will first need to take a bus from Cabo de Gata to Almería. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Almería bus station, transfer to a local bus that heads towards San José. Make sure to check the schedule, as the frequency may vary. Get off at the nearest stop to AL-3115, and then it's about a 20-minute walk along the road to the mirador. Be prepared for some walking along the roadside, and consider wearing comfortable shoes.
