If you are driving from Cabo de Gata, head southeast on the AL-3115 road. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Cabo de Gata. Once you reach the fork in the road, take the right turn onto the AL-3111 road towards San José. After approximately 3 kilometers, look for a sign indicating Cala de la Media Luna. Follow this road until you reach the parking area near the beach. Be aware that parking may incur a small fee, usually around €3-€5.

To reach Cala de la Media Luna via public transportation, you can take a local bus from Cabo de Gata to San José. Look for the ALSA bus service, which offers routes to various locations around the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. The bus will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at the San José stop and walk to the beach, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Be prepared for a little elevation change as you make your way down to the beach area.
