If you're driving, start by heading to the main road (GC-1) that connects the islands. From Las Palmas, take the GC-1 south towards Maspalomas. Continue on GC-1 for approximately 40 km, then take exit 54 towards GC-500. Follow GC-500 until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto GC-1 again. Keep following the signs for Centro, Madrid, and you will reach Plaza de Sta. Bárbara.

To reach Plaza de Sta. Bárbara using public transportation, first, locate the nearest bus station. Take a bus towards Las Palmas or a major city hub. From Las Palmas, you can take the bus number 1 which goes directly to the center of Madrid. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Madrid, look for metro line 1 (the light blue line) and take it towards Valdecarros. Get off at the 'Chueca' station. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Plaza de Sta. Bárbara. Exit the station, head southeast on Calle de Hortaleza, then turn right onto Calle de Santa Bárbara.
