From Santander, take the A67 highway heading southeast. Continue on A67 for about 45 kilometers until you reach the exit for Torrelavega. Merge onto the N634 road towards Torrelavega. Once in Torrelavega, follow the signs for the Caves of Las Monedas, which are located in Monte del Castillo. The cave is approximately 10 kilometers from Torrelavega. The final road will lead you to a parking area near the cave entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €2.

From Santander, take the Alsa bus service to Torrelavega. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Torrelavega, you can take a local taxi to the Cave of Las Monedas, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around €15-€20 for the ride. Alternatively, check if there are any local buses that run directly to the caves from Torrelavega.
