Car
If you are driving from other parts of Catalonia, take the AP-7 highway towards Barcelona. Follow signs for B-10 (Ronda del Litoral) as you approach the city. Exit at 'Ciutat Vella' and head towards the waterfront. Use a GPS or maps application to guide you to Pça. de Pau Vila, 3, Barcelona. There are public parking options nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking, which can vary in cost.
Train
For those traveling by train, take a Renfe train to Barcelona Sants station. From Barcelona Sants, transfer to Line 3 of the metro (the Green line) towards 'Trinitat Nova'. Get off at 'Liceu' station. From Liceu, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the museum. Head southeast on La Rambla, then take a right onto Carrer de la Marina, which will lead you to the museum at Pça. de Pau Vila, 3.
Metro
If you're already in Barcelona, take the metro to 'Barceloneta' station on Line 4 (the Yellow line). Once you exit, walk toward the waterfront and follow the signs leading to the Museu d'Historia de Catalunya. It’s about a 10-minute walk along the promenade.
Bus
If you prefer to travel by bus, you can catch the V15 or 59 lines from various parts of the city. Get off at the stop 'Pza. de Pau Vila' which is right in front of the museum. Bus tickets cost around €2.40.
