Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Peal de Becerro from Cazorla. Follow the A-6156 road, which will take you directly to Peal de Becerro. Once you arrive in the town, continue on the road towards the Peal de Becerro Natural Park entrance. Look for signs indicating the direction to Pico Gilillo. The last part of the route involves a steep climb, so ensure your vehicle is in good condition. Park at the designated parking area near the base of the hiking trail towards Pico Gilillo. Note that there may be a small parking fee, typically around 2-5 euros.
Public Transportation
Using public transportation, take a bus from Cazorla to Peal de Becerro. Buses run regularly, and the journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Check the local bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once you arrive in Peal de Becerro, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Natural Park entrance. The walk is about 1.5 km and will take around 20 minutes. Ensure you have some cash for the taxi if you choose that option, which might cost around 5-10 euros.
