Walking across the Roman Bridge of Cordoba
Walking across the Roman Bridge of Córdoba is crossing a piece of history. The bridge was built by the Romans more than two thousand years ago and, even with time and several renovations, it still maintains its solid stone structure over the Guadalquivir River. As you walk through it, you can see the old city spreading out and, in the background, the imposing Mosque-Cathedral. It is an easy place (that doesn't need a guide), quiet for walking, and gives a curious feeling of being connected to all the people who have passed through there over the centuries. Go at night too because it's a feeling of letting yourself travel through time....
