Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey by navigating to the A-7 highway, which runs along the Costa del Sol. From there, take the exit for Fuengirola (Exit 217). Follow the signs for Fuengirola city center. Once in the city, head towards the coast. You will find signs directing you to Castillo Sohail. The castle is located at C. Tartesios, s/n, 29640 Fuengirola. There is a parking area close to the castle, but be aware that parking may incur a fee, usually around €1-€2 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations along the Costa del Sol. Check the local bus schedules for routes that go to Fuengirola. Once you arrive at the Fuengirola bus station, you can walk to Castillo Sohail, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Head towards the coast and follow the signs to the castle. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the bus station, which should cost around €5-€7.

• Public Transportation - Train

  You can also take the Cercanías train (line C-1) to Fuengirola from nearby coastal towns. Once you arrive at the Fuengirola train station, exit the station and follow Av. de las Americas towards the coast. You will find Castillo Sohail about a 25-minute walk from the station. If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi, which will cost approximately €6-€8.
