Getting There

    If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto the A-7 motorway from your location in Costa del Sol. Follow the signs for Almería and stay on the A-7 for approximately 50 kilometers. Take exit 292 towards Nerja and merge onto the N-340. Continue on the N-340 for about 6 kilometers, following the signs for Cueva de Nerja. Once you reach the entrance, you will find parking available. Please note that parking might incur a fee depending on the time of year.

    To reach Fundación Cueva de Nerja using public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in your area. Take a bus towards Nerja (check the local bus schedules as they may vary). Once you arrive at Nerja's bus station, you can take a local taxi or a short walk (approximately 3 kilometers) to the caves. If walking, head towards the coast on Avenida de Pescia, then follow the road signs to Carr. de Bajada a Playa de Maro.
