Getting there

Bus

From Málaga city center, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Málaga. You can take a taxi or a 15-20 minute walk from Plaza de la Constitución to reach the bus station. Once at the bus station, look for the buses heading to Nerja. The ALSA bus company provides direct services approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1 hour. When you arrive at the Nerja bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road. Follow the signs towards the beach and walk straight for about 1.5 km (around 20 minutes) until you reach Playa Burriana.

Train and Bus

Take the train from Málaga Centro Alameda to Torre del Mar. From the Torre del Mar train station, you will need to take a local bus (M-1) towards Nerja. The bus service runs regularly and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nerja bus station, exit and walk towards the beach area, which is approximately 1.5 km away. Follow the main road signs towards Playa Burriana; it should take around 20 minutes on foot.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Málaga city center to Playa Burriana in Nerja. You can find taxis at designated taxi ranks or use a ride-hailing app. The journey will take around 50 minutes, depending on traffic, and will take you directly to the beach.
