Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start on the A-7 motorway (Autovía del Mediterráneo) heading toward Algeciras. Follow the signs for Marbella. Take the exit for Marbella and continue on the N-340 road towards Puerto Banús. Once you reach the Puerto Banús area, follow the signs to San Pedro de Alcántara and then to Playa de la Caleta. The beach is located right off the coast, and there are parking facilities available nearby, which may incur a fee of approximately 2-3 euros per hour.

• Public Transport - Bus

  For those using public transportation, you can take the local bus service from various locations in Costa del Sol. Look for the bus line that goes to Marbella, and get off at the Marbella bus station. From there, switch to the local bus line that services the San Pedro de Alcántara area. The bus will drop you off near Playa de la Caleta. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary, and the cost for a single journey is approximately 1.50-3 euros.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your current location in Costa del Sol. Taxis are available in most tourist areas and can take you directly to Playa de la Caleta. The fare will depend on the distance from your location, but expect to pay anywhere from 15 to 30 euros for a ride, depending on your starting point.

• Walking (from nearby locations)

  If you are staying in the nearby areas of San Pedro de Alcántara or Puerto Banús, Playa de la Caleta is accessible by foot. Simply follow the coastal path that leads to the beach. This scenic route is approximately a 30-40 minute walk from Puerto Banús and offers beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Ensure you have comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially during the warmer months.
