Bus
From the center of Cuenca, head to the main bus station located at Av. de los Hispanidad, 1. You can take the bus line to 'Cerro de la Horca'. The bus ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards Cueva De La Zarza. Follow the road leading northeast out of the town, and keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards the Cueva.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Cuenca, start at the Plaza Mayor. Head southeast towards Calle San Pedro until you reach the intersection with Calle de la Huerta. Turn left onto Calle de la Huerta and follow it until you reach the outskirts of the city. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers, where you will find a trail that leads directly to Cueva De La Zarza. The hike should take approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Cuenca. Head out of the city through Av. de la Hispanidad, then take the bike path that runs parallel to the road towards the north. After about 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Cueva De La Zarza. The ride should take around 20-25 minutes, depending on your pace.
