Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, use the A-66 highway. From any location in Extremadura, head towards Plasencia. Once you reach Plasencia, follow signs for the city center. The Parador de Plasencia is located at Pl. de San Vicente Ferrer, s/n, 10600 Plasencia, Cáceres. You can use GPS coordinates 40.0291874, -6.0940838 for accurate navigation. There is parking available near the Parador, but check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, check the bus schedules from major cities in Extremadura such as Cáceres or Badajoz. Companies like Avanza and ALSA operate routes to Plasencia. Once you arrive at the Plasencia bus station, you can either walk to the Parador, which is approximately a 15-minute walk (1.2 km), or take a taxi for a small fee (around 5-7 euros). Walking directions: exit the bus station, head towards Avenida de la Vera, turn left on Calle de las Armas, and continue straight until you reach Pl. de San Vicente Ferrer.

• Train

  If traveling by train, take the Renfe service to Plasencia from cities like Madrid or Cáceres. The Plasencia train station is about 2 km from the Parador. From the train station, you can take a taxi (approximately 8 euros) or walk. For walking, exit the station, head towards Avenida de la Vera, turn right, and continue straight until you reach the city center. The Parador will be on your left at Pl. de San Vicente Ferrer.
