Once at the square, take the exit towards Carrer de Ramón y Cajal. Walk straight along this street until you reach the end and turn left onto Carrer de la Creu. Continue walking until you reach the Plaça Calvet i Rubalcaba, where the Monument del Lleó is located.

From the Girona train station, take the bus line 1 (L1) towards La Devesa. Get off at the stop called 'Plaça de la Independència'.
