Walking
From the Girona Cathedral, head down Carrer de la Força towards Carrer de la Palla. Turn right onto Carrer de la Palla, and continue until you reach the Plaça de la Independència. Once at the square, take the exit towards Carrer de Ramón y Cajal. Walk straight along this street until you reach the end and turn left onto Carrer de la Creu. Continue walking until you reach the Plaça Calvet i Rubalcaba, where the Monument del Lleó is located.
Public Transport
From the Girona train station, take the bus line 1 (L1) towards La Devesa. Get off at the stop called 'Plaça de la Independència'. From there, walk straight across the square, exiting towards Carrer de Ramón y Cajal. Continue walking until you reach Carrer de la Creu, then turn left. The Monument del Lleó will be located at the end of Plaça Calvet i Rubalcaba.
Cycling
If you are renting a bike, start from the Girona Cathedral and head towards Carrer de la Força. Follow the same path as if walking towards Carrer de la Palla. Once you reach Plaça de la Independència, cycle through the square and exit towards Carrer de Ramón y Cajal. Keep cycling straight until you turn left onto Carrer de la Creu, and you will find the Monument del Lleó at the end of Plaça Calvet i Rubalcaba.
