Walking
If you are in the center of Girona, head towards Carrer de la Cort Reial. Walk straight until you reach Plaça de la Independència. From there, take Carrer de l'Argenteria, which will lead you to the river. Cross the Onyar River via the Pont de Pedra. Once across, continue straight on Carrer de la Barca, then take a left onto Carrer de la Força that will take you into the old town. Follow the signs towards Begur, which is about 38 kilometers away. You can take a local bus from the central bus station in Girona to reach Begur.
Bus
From the main bus station in Girona (Estació d'Autobusos), take the bus to Begur. The buses run regularly, generally every hour. Make sure to check the schedule in advance to plan your trip. Once you arrive at the Begur bus station, it is a short walk to Plaça de la Vila. Head south on Carrer de l'Escoles and turn left onto Carrer de la Vila. Continue straight until you reach the square.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Girona. Start your journey by heading towards the Carrer de la Creu. Follow the cycle paths that lead out of the city towards the coastal areas. It’s approximately a 16 km ride to Begur, so make sure you have a map or GPS. Once you arrive in Begur, follow the local signs to Plaça de la Vila, which is centrally located.
