Walking
If you are starting from the Girona Cathedral, head east on Carrer de la Força towards Carrer de la Pera. Continue straight until you reach Plaça de la Independència. Once at the square, take the exit towards Carrer Nou and continue straight. You will pass through several small streets filled with shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signage that directs you towards Plaça de les Castanyes. After about a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at Plaça de les Castanyes, a charming town square located at 17004 Girona.
Walking
From the Girona Train Station, exit and turn left onto Carrer de Joan Maragall. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avinguda de Ramon Folch. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach Plaça de les Castanyes. The square will be on your right, and you will see the beautiful trees and local atmosphere.
Public Transport
If you are near the Girona Bus Station, you can take Bus Line 3 towards Montilivi. Get off at the stop 'Carrer de la Creu' after approximately 10 minutes. From there, walk back towards the intersection and turn right onto Carrer de la Creu. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Plaça de les Castanyes. The square is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the local ambiance.
