Mirador Ojo de Granada: A Breathtaking Viewpoint in the Heart of Granada

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the city center (Plaza Nueva), head east on Calle Reyes Católicos towards the fountain. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the first exit onto Calle Gran Vía de Colón. Walk along this street until you reach the intersection with Calle Alhóndiga. Turn left onto Calle Alhóndiga and continue until you arrive at Plaza de Santa Ana. From the plaza, take Calle de la Sultana, which will lead you uphill. Keep walking straight, and you will arrive at the Albaicín district. Follow the signs leading to Mirador Ojo de Granada, which is located at C. Cruz de Quirós, 12. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.

• Bus

  From the city center, catch Bus Line C2 or C1 at Plaza Nueva. Make sure to get off at the 'Mirador de San Nicolás' stop, which is a popular viewpoint in the Albaicín area. After getting off the bus, walk downhill on Calle de San Nicolás, then take a right onto Calle Cruz de Quirós. Follow this street, and you will reach Mirador Ojo de Granada in about 5-10 minutes. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes.

• Taxi

  You can easily find a taxi at any taxi stop in the city, such as Plaza Nueva or near the Cathedral. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Mirador Ojo de Granada' at C. Cruz de Quirós, 12 in the Albaicín district. The taxi ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
