From the center of Sacromonte, start at the Plaza de los Tristes. Head up the Camino del Sacromonte, which is a well-marked path leading into the hills. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of the Alhambra and the surrounding landscape. Continue walking along the road for approximately 15-20 minutes. The Abadía del Sacromonte will be on your left as you approach the entrance, marked by its distinctive architecture.
Public Bus
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take bus line C31 from the nearest bus stop at Plaza de los Tristes. Buses run frequently, and the fare is typically around €1.20. Get off at the stop 'Camino del Sacromonte.' From there, it's a short 5-minute walk up the road to reach the Abadía del Sacromonte, which will be on your left.
Taxi
For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Sacromonte. Simply flag down a taxi or call one, and provide the driver with the destination: 'Abadía del Sacromonte, Camino del Sacromonte.' The fare should be around €6-€10, depending on your exact location and traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the abbey.
