Getting There

  • Car

    From Camino de Santiago, take the AP-9 motorway towards the southeast direction. Continue on AP-9 for approximately 110 km, then merge onto the A-6 towards Madrid. After about 140 km, take the exit onto M-30 towards Valencia/M-40. Continue on M-30 for about 8 km. Merge onto A-3 towards Valencia, and then take exit 10B to merge onto the M-45. Follow the signs for M-40 and continue onto A-3. Take exit 10 to Calle de la Albufera, and follow the signs to Lugar Prado Zurita, 1S, Vallecas, Madrid. The total drive time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes depending on traffic.

    From the Santiago de Compostela bus station, take a bus to Madrid. The journey takes approximately 10 hours, and buses are frequent throughout the day. Upon arrival at Madrid Estación Sur, transfer to the Metro Line 1 towards Valdecarros and get off at the stop 'San Lázaro'. From there, switch to Line 3 towards Villaverde and travel to 'El Casar'. Exit the metro and transfer to bus line 145, which will take you to Lugar Prado Zurita, 1S, Vallecas. This leg of the journey takes about 1 hour. Make sure to check schedules for both bus and metro as they may vary.
