To reach Pl. de Lavapiés, start by finding the nearest Metro station. If you are near Sol, take Line 1 (the light blue line) towards Valdecarros. Get off at the next stop, which is Gran Vía. At Gran Vía, transfer to Line 5 (the green line) in the direction of Casa de Campo. Ride for three stops and get off at Lavapiés station. From the station exit, walk straight out onto Calle de Lavapiés, and you will find Pl. de Lavapiés just a short walk ahead of you.
