Getting There

  • Walking

    From La Malagueta, start by walking towards the beach promenade (Paseo de la Malagueta). Head west along the promenade until you reach the roundabout at Plaza de la Malagueta. Continue straight onto Calle de la Bolsa. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach Calle Molina Lario. Turn left onto Calle Molina Lario and walk straight for about 5 minutes. The Santa Iglesia Catedral Basílica de la Encarnación will be on your right at C. Molina Lario, 9.

    From La Malagueta, you can also take a bus to reach the cathedral. Head to the nearest bus stop, 'Malagueta', located on Paseo de la Malagueta. Board Bus Line 1 (L1) in the direction of 'El Palo'. After about 5 minutes, get off at the stop 'Catedral'. The cathedral is a short 2-minute walk from the bus stop. Head west along Calle Cordería and turn right onto Calle Molina Lario. The cathedral will be on your left.
