Walking
From the Oviedo Cathedral (Catedral de San Salvador), head east on Calle de la Independencia. Continue straight until you reach Plaza de la Escandalera. Turn left onto Calle de Uría and walk straight until you reach the end of the street, where it meets Avenida de Galicia. Cross Avenida de Galicia at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight on Calle de la Lila. Soon, you'll see the signs for Ruta Jacobea Primitiva on your right. Follow the signs to the start of the trail.

Public Transport
From the Oviedo Bus Station (Estación de Autobuses de Oviedo), take bus number 1 towards La Corredoria. Get off at the stop ‘Calle de Lila’. After getting off, head back towards Avenida de Galicia and walk towards Calle de la Lila. You will soon find the signs leading you to Ruta Jacobea Primitiva.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Parque de San Francisco. Exit the park onto Calle de la Lila. Ride straight along this road until you reach Avenida de Galicia. Turn right on Avenida de Galicia and then take the first left onto Calle de la Lila. Look for the signs for Ruta Jacobea Primitiva as you approach the trailhead.
