Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Oviedo, head to the 'Estación de Autobuses' (Bus Station) located at Avenida de Galicia, 1. You can take any local bus that heads towards San Esteban de las Cruces. Look for the buses labeled with routes that include 'San Esteban de las Cruces'. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the main bus stop in San Esteban de las Cruces, you will need to walk approximately 20 minutes to Zoo El Bosque. Exit the bus station and head south on Calle de la Iglesia, then turn left onto Calle Los Molinos. Follow this road for about 1.5 km until you reach Zoo El Bosque on your right.

• Walking from Local Bus Stop

  Once you arrive at the San Esteban de las Cruces bus stop, if you prefer to walk, exit the bus and head south on Calle de la Iglesia. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Calle Los Molinos. Continue straight for approximately 1.2 km; the zoo will be on your right side. This is a pleasant walk through the area, allowing you to enjoy the local scenery.
