Bus
From the center of Palma, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely to be at Plaça d'Espanya. Look for the bus service 'L' (Line 1). Board the bus and make sure to check the direction. You should get off at the stop called 'Carrer de la Riera'. From there, walk towards the direction of the mountains. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Carrer de la Muntanya. Turn left onto Carrer de la Muntanya and continue until you reach the trailhead for Cova dels Pastors.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Palma. Start at the city center and head towards the Paseo Marítimo. Follow the coastline until you reach the Port. From there, head east towards the mountains. Use the bike paths and keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Cova dels Pastors. You will eventually reach the trailhead where you can park your bicycle before starting your hike to the cave.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the city center at Plaça Major. Head towards the Passeig del Born and follow it towards the east. Continue walking until you reach the edge of the city. From there, look for signs indicating hiking trails leading to the mountains. Follow the signs for Cova dels Pastors, and you will eventually reach the cave after about an hour's hike through beautiful natural scenery.
