Public Bus
From the city center of Palma, head to the main bus station, Estació Intermodal. Look for Bus Line 3 (Línea 3) towards 'Porto Pi'. The bus will take you directly towards the Porto Pi area. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Disembark at the 'Paseo Marítimo' stop. From there, it's a short walk. Head towards the coastline, following the road along the water until you reach the lighthouse.
Walking
If you are near the Cathedral of Santa Maria (La Seu), you can walk to Far de Portopí. Start at the Cathedral and head towards the Paseo Marítimo, which is a scenic waterfront promenade. Continue walking along the promenade for about 30-40 minutes. Follow the path until you see signs pointing towards the lighthouse (Far de Portopí). It's a beautiful walk with views of the sea.
Taxi
If you prefer a faster option, you can take a taxi. Simply find a taxi stand in Palma or hail one on the street. Provide the driver with the address 'Ctra. Arsenal, 3E, Ponent, 07015 Palma'. The drive from the city center will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. This is a convenient option if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to walk.
Bicycle Rental
For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle. There are several bike rental shops near the city center. Once you have your bike, head towards the Paseo Marítimo and follow it along the coast. The ride to Far de Portopí takes about 20-30 minutes and offers stunning views of the bay.
