Getting There

Walking
From the Plaza de España in Ronda, head southeast towards Calle de la Bola. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Virgen de la Paz. Turn left onto Calle Virgen de la Paz. After a short walk, you will see the Plaza del Socorro. From the Plaza del Socorro, take Calle José Aparicio and continue until you reach the Tajo de Ronda, a gorge that splits the town. Once you reach the edge of the gorge, follow the path along the edge until you see the Puente Nuevo (New Bridge). Continue walking along the path that leads down towards the gorge, and you will find the Puente Romano located just below the Puente Nuevo, crossing the Río Guadalevín. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take about 20-25 minutes.

If you are starting from the Ronda Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida de Málaga. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Calle Cuesta de la Pólvora. Continue walking straight until you reach the Plaza de España. From there, follow the previous directions towards the Puente Romano. The total distance from the train station is about 2 kilometers and may take around 30 minutes.

From the Ronda bus station, exit and head west on Avenida de Andalucía. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Calle de la Virgen de la Paz. Walk straight until you reach the Plaza de España. From there, follow the directions to the Puente Romano as mentioned earlier. The walk from the bus station is approximately 1.8 kilometers and should take around 25 minutes.
