Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Plaza Mayor, start by facing the Casa de las Conchas. From there, walk towards the north side of the square, exiting through the archway onto Calle de Zamora. Continue straight on Calle de Zamora for about 400 meters until you reach a T-junction. Here, turn left onto Calle del Rosario. After about 200 meters, you will see the Convento de San Esteban on your right at Calle Rosario, 2. The impressive façade will be hard to miss!

  • Walking

    From the University of Salamanca, exit the main entrance and turn left. Walk along Calle de la Universidad until you reach Plaza del Concilio de Trento. Continue straight until you reach Calle de Zamora. Turn right and walk for about 300 meters. At the T-junction, turn left onto Calle del Rosario. The Convento de San Esteban will be on your right after approximately 200 meters.

    If you are near the Salamanca Cathedral, walk down Calle de la Libertad towards Plaza Mayor. Once you reach Plaza Mayor, follow the instructions above to get to Convento de San Esteban. Alternatively, you can walk along Calle de San Pablo, which leads directly to the convent, also taking about 10-15 minutes.
