Getting There

• Bus

  If you are in the city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely to be near the Boulevard or Plaza de Gipuzkoa. Look for the bus numbers that head towards Ondarreta Beach, specifically lines 17 or 28. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Ondarreta' bus stop, which is just a short walk from the beach.

• Walking

  From the city center, take a leisurely stroll towards Ondarreta Beach. Start at Plaza de la Constitución and walk down towards the harbor along the Paseo de la Concha. Enjoy the beautiful views of the bay. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end of La Concha Beach. From there, you will see the start of Ondarreta Beach just a short walk away. This walk will take approximately 30 minutes.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in the city. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Ondarreta Beach. The taxi will take you directly to the beach, which should take around 10 minutes depending on your starting point and traffic conditions.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. There are several bike rental shops in the city center. Once you have your bike, head towards the waterfront area and follow the bike lanes along the Paseo de la Concha. Continue past La Concha Beach until you reach Ondarreta Beach. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes and offers lovely views along the way.
