Excellent week of beginner surf school in Somo

Lovely six days on one to one beginner surf coaching at the Escuela Cantabra de Surf. Excellent instructor in Marcelo and wonderful staff at the reception. The surf cabin accommodation is excellent and two minutes walk to the surf school. The Playa Somo or the beach is very close by. Everything is at the doir stop like cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend the school. Surfing is the most incredible sport i have ever done. Thank you to Christina for organising my trip.

Surf course for children 1 day

Fantastic experience

An unforgettable day for a 12-year-old. Although it was only a day due to bad weather, he came back happy. It was his first time and the monitors were lovely and very professional. They helped him build confidence from the get-go. He started at 9:30 and left the board at 6:00 p.m., tired but with a smile from ear to ear. From the beginning, everything was very easy. The website has all the information perfectly detailed and it is very simple to hire the course. Everything is clear and well explained, which gives a lot of confidence before you arrive. On the day of the course, first thing, there were a lot of people, but the whole team is very friendly and the organization works like clockwork. He told us that he had a great time, that he learned a lot and that the teachers made everything easy and very fun. At the end of the day he didn’t want to leave and has already told us he wants to repeat and do a longer course next time. An experience of 10, highly recommended. Thanks to the whole team for making it so special, even in bad weather.

Surf course 5 days

Amazing Experience!!

We stayed in the surf cabins and did five days of surf lessons in October. The waves were perfect this time of the year. We had an amazing experience with the surfing instructors. Pedro was awesome and very helpful. My daughters had three different instructors and they were all so fun, helpful, and nice. They remember Miguel especially. The surf school facility, the organization of lessons, and everything was top notch. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend families take lessons and stay with the surf school. It was an unforgettable experience and we’ll be looking for opportunities to return.
