Walking
If you are starting from the city center (Plaza de Cañadío), head northwest towards Calle del Río de la Pila. Continue walking until you reach Plaza del Ayuntamiento. From here, walk towards the seafront by taking Paseo de Pereda. Follow the promenade along the waterfront until you reach the end of the promenade. Once you reach the end, you will see the entrance to Primera Playa del Sardinero directly ahead, marked by the staircase leading down to the beach.

From the central bus station or any bus stop in the city center, take Line 1 (the yellow line) towards 'El Sardinero.' The bus will take you directly to the 'Plaza de Italia' stop. Once you alight, walk towards Avenida Castañeda. You will find the pedestrian access with stairs leading down to Primera Playa del Sardinero right near the Plaza de Italia.
