Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head southeast on Praza do Obradoiro toward Rúa do Campiño da Ferradura. Continue straight onto Rúa da Caldeirería, then turn right onto Rúa do Franco. Walk along Rúa do Franco until you reach Praza de Galicia. From there, take the exit onto Rúa de San Pedro and continue walking straight. You will come to a fork in the road; take the left path onto Rúa de San Pedro and follow it up the hill. When you reach the top, you will see Parque da Alameda on your right.

  • Public Transport

    From the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Praza de Galicia'. Take bus number 6 toward 'Santiago de Compostela - Casco Histórico'. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Alameda' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the entrance of Parque da Alameda, which is located on Rúa do Campiño da Ferradura.
