Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Head south on Rúa do Franco until you reach Rúa de San Pedro. Turn left onto Rúa de San Pedro. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rúa de Ramón y Cajal. Turn right onto Rúa de Ramón y Cajal and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rúa de La Paz. Continue along this road, crossing the bridge over the river. After crossing, follow the road as it curves right onto Rúa de José Malvar Figueroa. You will see the Ponte dos Tirantes ahead.

• Public Transport

  From the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, walk to the nearby bus stop at Plaza de Galicia. Take bus number 10 towards 'Pontevedra.' Stay on the bus until you reach the stop 'Ponte dos Tirantes.' This journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you get off, the bridge will be within walking distance.

• Biking

  Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops near the Cathedral. Start your ride on Rúa do Franco heading south. Then, turn left onto Rúa de San Pedro. Continue onto Rúa de Ramón y Cajal, and follow the road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rúa de La Paz. Cross the bridge over the river and continue onto Rúa de José Malvar Figueroa. The Ponte dos Tirantes will be in sight as you approach.
