Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, head east on Rua do Franco. Continue straight until you reach Praza de Praterías. From there, take the road to the right onto Rua do Vilar. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rúa de San Pedro. Turn left onto Rúa de San Pedro and continue until you reach Praza de Galicia, which will be on your right.

    If you are near the Mercado de Abastos, you can take bus line 6 or 11. Board the bus at the nearest stop and get off at the 'Praza de Galicia' stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to the square, which is directly in front of you.
