Walking
If you are starting from the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, head southeast on Rúa do Franco towards Rúa da Virxe da Cerca. Continue straight onto Rúa do Vilar. After about 400 meters, turn left onto Rúa de San Pedro. Continue for another 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rúa do Hórreo. Turn right and walk straight for about 200 meters. You will see Praza de Galicia on your left, a beautiful square surrounded by trees and benches.

From Parque de la Alameda, exit the park through the main entrance and head towards Rúa do Hórreo. Walk straight for about 600 meters, keeping an eye out for the large fountain at the entrance of Praza de Galicia. As you approach, the square will be on your right side.
