Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Sierra Nevada ski resort area. Head southeast on the A-395 road. Continue on A-395 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the exit for the A-348 towards Trevélez. Follow the A-348 for about 15 kilometers. As you approach Trevélez, follow the signs directing you to the town center. Once in Trevélez, you can park your car in one of the public parking lots near the town center and then walk to Fuente del jamón, which is located on Calle de la Fuente del Jamón.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Granada to Trevélez. You can catch the bus from the Granada bus station. The bus service to Trevélez is operated by Alsa, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. Upon arrival in Trevélez, you will need to walk to Fuente del jamón, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Just head down the main street towards the center of town, and follow the signs to Calle de la Fuente del Jamón.
